Number 10. Afrojack – $16 Million.
Dutch DJ, Afrojack, who probably could have done better on this list, earned $16 million; taking the 10th place. He has work as DJ in various countries including Netherlands and Greece, and took on his current name in 2007, when he also established his own studio, Wall Recordings. Nowadays, he constantly comes up with a new addictive hits, that quickly makes its way to popular radio stations.

Number 9. Zedd – $17 Million.
Zedd is also a very talented DJ, earning the same as Martin Garrix, $17 million. He is of German-Russian origin. His main career began in 2002 when he began his path in Electro House.

Number 8. Martin Garrix – $17 Million.
Martin Garrix, the kid-faced Dutch king of Progressive and Electro House is the 8th best-paid DJ in the world along with Kaskade. Garrix earned $17 million.

Number 7. Kaskade – $18 Million
Kaskade is one of the oldest DJs in the world at 44 but is still one of the most tireless in the dance music business. Between 2014 and 2015, Forbes estimated his earnings at $18 million.

Number 6. Avicii – $19 Million.
Avicii surprisingly was not among the top dogs (top-five), and this is surprising because of his immense popularity worldwide. Avicii’s 2014-2015 earnings is estimated at $19 million.

Number 5. Steve Aoki – $24 Million.
Steve Aoki came in tied with Skrillex at fourth place, earning $24 million. This year was probably one of the most successful years for the American Electro and Dubstep king, adding $1 million to last year’s $23 million.

Number 4. Skrillex – $24 Million.
The American king of Dubstep remixes, Skrillex, comes fourth on the list with a total earnings of $24million.  He began his career as part of From First to Last, as singer, but in 2007 began his solo path to glory.

Number 3. Tiësto – $36 Million.
The third place goes to this immensely popular Dutch DJ. Tiësto has been around for dacade, at the age of 46 he is still out earning younger DJs thanks to enodorsement deals with Guess, 7UP and a massive lucrative residency at Las Vegas megaclub Hakkasan. He played more than 100 shows around the world during the 12 months period.


Number 2. David Guetta – $37 Million.
David Guetta is almоst as pоpular as Calvin Harris, the French DJ earned $37 million. In 2014 he toured with Rihanna and has penned songs for Brittany Spears and Lady Gaga.

Number 1. Calvin Harris – $66 Million.
And the highest-paid DJ in the world is Scottish songwriter, producer and remixer Calvin Harris who earned $66 million from June 2014 to June 2015.  In over 16 years, he has become the the most power DJ in the world, producing music in electro house, nu-disco and dance-pop genres. He has released various tracks featuring several famous stars like Rihanna.
